Jaris (HAPPY JARIS Dandy mate) came back home today. She was cremated on May 13, and now I could pick up her urn.

May 5, 2025:

Back from the three-day international show in Herend/HU. The two show guests, Loomes (LOLLIPOP z Valdorskych lesu) and Rapunzel (RAPUNZEL Winning Smile), were shown. And just three weeks after her return from Finland, my "superdog" Mamacita (CIB Ch BALT LT EE LV FIN SK MN SLO SRB RO BIH RS GrCh SK RO SRB BIH JSRB Jamming’s MAMACITA) rocked the show rings, claiming another championship with three class wins and two Res. CACIB. She is now also Beauty Champion of Hungary.

Loomes won the open class three times, received one CACIB, two Res. CACIB, and was awarded the BOS on the first day. He also went home as a Beauty Champion of Hungary - his first championship. Congratulations to his breeder and owner, Mirka.

Unfortunately, Rapunzel messed up her previously excellent show performance on the second day and only received the CAC on two days. This means she will have to compete in more shows in Hungary. Congratulations to her breeder and owner Nastya.

It's a sad day. Jaris (HAPPY JARIS Dandy mate) gained her angel wings this morning at the age of 17 years, 3 months, and 8 days. A wonderful age, no doubt about it, but it still hits me hard. She was healthy all her life, a sweet and friendly dog ​​to everyone else in the pack, always funny and full of joy ......

Jaris, you will be missed. Now you are reunited with your children and their father, Steel (Champ. Silver Bluff STEEL KING LEGACY, AOM). Farewell until we meet again. I'm sorry I wasn't with you in your final hours, but was at a show instead. If I had known that this was your time, I would have stayed home.

And on this very day, 7 years ago, my soulmate Keanu (CIB Multi-Champ, Whispering in the Devil's Advocate) was taken from me completely unexpectedly.

A candle was lit for them both.

Finally, another day to celebrate: today, Hippie (CIB Multi-Champ. by Shinbashi HIGH PROVOCATION) turns 8 years young. Happy birthday! I wish us many, many more years together.

April 20, 2025:

Lella sent me a very sweet voice message today:
„This is the first time I am home-grooming Mafia after she came home. I just wanted to let you know that I am absolutely super thankful how you have been taking care of her coat. It has grown a lot and it’s in beautiful shape and beautiful condition, absolutely everything. Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart.“

These words make me incredibly happy, because it's not easy to care for a strange dog the way its owners are used to. It seems I've done a great job.

April 11, 2005:

The big day has finally arrived. Mamacita (CIB Ch BALT LT EE LV FIN SK MN SLO SRB RO BIH RS GrCh SK RO SRB BIH JSRB Jamming’s MAMACITA) is coming home today, and Mafia (CIB Ch SK SRB FI EE LV LT CZ BALT JLT JLV JEE JBALT Jamming's MAFIA) will be heading back to Finland.

In less than an hour, Mafia and I will be heading to her breeder and owner. I have to say goodbye to an incredibly sweet, funny, and cuddly girl. She was a wonderful addition and a great companion to the others in this house. The last six months with her have been a truly wonderful adventure. I was able to make memories for a lifetime. It's sad to let her go. Take care, Mafia, and I wish you a safe journey home to Finland with Samu and some of your canine family.

Thanks to Samu and Lella for trusting me to have Mafia here and show her. Unfortunately, she wasn't present at all the planned shows, but at least she won two new titles.

I met Samu in Brno/CZ, where he will be exhibiting at the EDS 2025. The welcome was indescribable – from both dogs. Mamacita wouldn't stop kissing me. When we got home, she followed me everywhere, played, and jumped onto my lap for a cuddle as soon as I sat down. I promised her I would never let her leave again. The pack was happy to have her home, too.

I don't know if it helped that I kept sending Mamacita voice messages so she wouldn't forget who I was, but I did it regularly, and Milja often sent me videos of Mamacita's joy when she heard my voice. In the voice message Lella played the day before she left back to me, she even went to the dog door to see if I was there. These videos have always touched me deeply, and I'm very grateful to Milja and Lella for sending them to me. The video (from April 7) can be seen under Videos/Mamacita.

Thanks again to Milja for everything she's done for and with Mamacita, and thanks again to Lella and Samu for giving me the opportunity to attend exhibitions with my sweet little girl that would have been simply impossible for me. It was worth it, but it wasn't an easy time, and I think it wasn't easy for Lella and Samu either, not having Mafia with them for six months.

April 4, 2025:

April 3, 2025:

The Hungarian Kennel Club had to make an unexpected decision today following a decision by the Agricultural Authority: Due to the foot-and-mouth disease, the three-day show in Komarom will not take place. This means the very last opportunity to win another championship with Mafia (CIB Multi-Champion Jamming's MAFIA) has been lost. It's a shame, I would have loved to send her home with three new titles.
